Access
Access to the site is free, but the functionality in the MapExplorer is limited and all data is watermarked. Registered user have access to all interactive
mapping tools and data without watermarks
Subscriptions (WMS Data Server)
Already have a map engine?...simply access our data servers through our OGC compliant WMS.
Immediately have access to these sets of data (also available through the API ):
- South Africa Street maps (Southern Africa, available on request)
- Southern Africa hybrid
- Southern Africa topography Map
- 1: 50 000 Topographical maps
- Landsat Satellite Imagery
- B/W Aerial Photos* (coming January 2008)

Should you require a custom map service, with a specific set of data, please
contact us with your requirements, and we will attend to your request.
Aerial photographs do not cover the entire country and consist of readily available data. Additional phtographs can be sourced on request
API
With our "easy to implement" configurable API, you are able to have access to a full range of mapping tools to suit your needs. These include:
- Map navigation (zoom/pan)
- Drawing features ( lines / point / polygons)
- Adding your own point data (or other data in GML format)
